12oz | Ground or Whole Bean
Start with a sweet, floral aroma; now add a complex, fruity flavor, and you get Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. Also, look for hints of a berry or wine aftertaste. This bean is a 5000 footer which makes it a Strictly Hardbean Coffee (SHC). This affects the flavor because it allows for a longer growing time, so the tree can absorb more nutrients which end up in your cup. And it is processed dry. That means the coffee fruit, often called the cherry, dries in the sun allowing the coffee bean to benefit from the flavor of the fruit.
*All coffees are whole bean medium roast by default, if you prefer your coffee with light or dark roast or prefer for us to grind please specify in the notes sections at checkout.
As always the coffee is great. I particularly like the Ethiopian for its richness. I use course grind in a small percolator. Every type I've tried has been worthwhile, but, I've got my favourite.
I just tried it this morning. I like it. You get a little taste of wood from the roasting process but still good!!!
